so many people are looking for God, but confused by religion. We can offer more than a religion if we are willing to be the
light in this dark and desperate world. We can reflect the image of God and offer the love of Jesus Christ to others
in a world filled with religious deception by offering ourselves, not our religion. This is the Christ-like way to worship
God in spirit and in truth. We are living in a self-centered world. This life can be desperate and lonely. Empty people
can spend their lives looking for the one thing that will satisfy their hunger. In time, they lose their focus on God and
religion becomes an escape from the reality of their lost life. Stand up for the cause that is greater than yourself, Soldier-4-Christ.
"Now is the time to break free from the religious chains that divide and deceive us." Reach out in faith and serve the cause
of Christ. Bring the hope, and the love you have found in the word of God to those that are searching for it. We
say that we love a burger and fries, and we say that we love our neighbor, but it's not the same thing. Make the
sacrifice of commitment to others and follow His footsteps.
God has never asked anyone for a religion. To honor God we should agree with Him about what is evil, and then
choose to live a life that is righteous. God's desire is that we would believe in His ability to forgive us in spite
of our sinful nature, while we learn over time to make right choices. This life is all about learning the knowledge of good
and evil. In Heaven all of us will understand this because of the fruit of the knowledge we have experienced in
our life time. Some of that fruit is bitter, other fruit is sweet. We learn the knowledge of Good and evil from the fruit.
Man created religion to demonstrate his love for God. In time, the religion beast that man created replaced God
in the heart of man.
After nailing Jesus Christ to the cross, religion proudly announced, 'He saved others,
but He could not save Himself.' In no time at all, religion will try to become God in your heart and your mind. You will have
to make a choice. Who will you serve?
God's response to religion will be, 'Depart from Me, I never knew you.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts; neither are your ways, My ways.' "Religion is all about man; faith on the other hand
is all about God."
There is a way that seems right in the heart of man, but in the end it leads to death. Satan
was cast from heaven, because his desire was to exalt himself, not God. Don't use religion as a tool to glorify yourself or
your deeds. You will make the same mistake Satan did if this is the motivation in your worship. When you worship God, give
Him alone the glory and the praise. In the spirit of true humility, offer yourself to God.
I've learned to keep
my focus on Jesus Christ alone. Religion is a battlefield. Satan likes to masquerade as an angel of light. He loves looking
like an angel and boasting about all of his blessings, so that you will learn to follow him. He will inspire people to glorify
themselves, like he does, in order to keep the church from exalting the Lord Jesus Christ. This is Satan's way of getting
the church distracted. He knows that in no time at all, by appealing to our desire for the approval of others, he will have
many that will be willing to follow in his footsteps. Once your focus turns from Christ to self, Satan has accomplished
his purpose.
( John 1 - 1 ) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He
was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. You see
by this verse that the Word of God is God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Word, all together they become one
God. Do you want to be filled with the Holy Spirit? The Word of God is the Holy Spirit. Do you want to be led by the Holy
Spirit? Don't just read the Bible, but let it direct your life. Religion has made being filled by the Holy Spirit into something
mystical, but simply open your Bible and read it. You will find what you have been looking for: all of the Father, all of
His Son, all of His Holy Spirit. Everything you need for life and godliness is in the Bible. The journey of faith begins in
the word of God.
( 2 Chronicles 7:14 ) 'If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face
and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.'
