"There are times in my life when I wonder how I will ever live up to God's standards when I can't even live up to my own morals and beliefs. I am so thankful for God's patience with me. I've heard stories of lives instantly changed, but for me it's not been that simple. I spend a great deal of time on my knees asking God for strength and forgiveness. God's Word lifts me to a higher level where I can see clearly Christ in my life. As I remember the dead man that I was, God wipes every tear from my eyes, and I see hope for tomorrow. God has given me absolute proof of Christ’s love for me by the change I see in my life over the years. I'm learning not to focus on a moment or my failures. This life is not about being knocked down or giving-up. Life is all about getting up, pulling yourself together, and overcoming obstacles that keep you from becoming the person God intended you to be. Never give up on yourself or on God. When you need a hand, you reach out to others. When you see someone else is down, you pull them up. I've learned most of what I know to be the truth, the hard way. I can tell you all about starting over again. God is not looking for a moment in your life to fix all the problems. He is looking for those people who will not abandon there faith when life gets tough.
