Soldier-4-Christ

God created mankind to enhance His glory. Imagine God's glory when all of us, the redeemed, gather together to receive the fulfillment of God's promise. It is also true that not all of the people that God created will give Him the glory that He alone deserves.

(Romans 9-13) 'Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.' Is God unjust? He created them both but before they were born He loved Jacob and hated Esau. In order for the glory of God to reach it's highest potential, there had to be freedom of choice. In order to fulfill His purpose in creation, God had to allow mankind to choose evil so that He could be merciful. Both Esau and Jacob were sinners. Why then did God love Jacob, but hate Esau? Jacob, in spite of his lack of morals, was willing to admit that he was a sinner. Jacob's hope was in God's mercy. Esau, although he became the father of a great nation, you don't see in the scripture that he was willing to face the fact that he was a sinner. His hope seemed to be in himself, not God.

"Am I a Jacob or an Esau?"
(Romans 9-16) It does not depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy. I have no reason to be proud of my spiritual inheritance as though I deserve God's approval. Without mercy, no one will ever be righteous in God's eyes. Be willing to face the truth about your sin. Consider the effect sin has had in your life, and in the lives of others. From your heart forgive all of it and receive God's love and forgiveness in faith. Jacob faced his sin and received forgiveness in faith. He did not try to earn forgiveness by his deeds. Accept God's offer of mercy and be set free. It's the only way to be the Christan that will make a difference in this world of religious delusions.

Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a pharisee and the other a tax collector.
The pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: "God, I thank you that I am not like other men—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get." Like Esau, the pharisees hope was in himself.

The tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, "God, have mercy on me, a sinner." Like Jacob, the tax collector put his hope in God.

What is the truth that will set you free?

"Admit that you are a sinner, and that your only hope, both now, and forever, is in God's mercy."

I have come to realize that the peace of mind I seek is not found in religion. It is not found in my achievements. The inner peace I seek is only found in fulfilling God's purpose in my life. God's purpose for me is that I would learn to give Him glory....

I truly believe that we are living on the edge of the best of blessings that mankind has ever known. The final outpouring of God's Spirit is what lies ahead of us. When the wickedness, in this world, predicts disaster, I believe God will pour out His grace like never before.

Grace is a gift that isn't earned or deserved. Grace is what this world needs as we approach our future. Imagine God's glory when a world that is living in fear finds His peace. Imagine an angry God that is able to deliver justice to the ones that hide from it.

The time will come when God will say, "I will pour out my Spirit on my people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Can you see the glory of God as people from every nation bow down and give Him praise? Can you see the people rejoicing as God delivers justice to the ones that made us live in fear? The hopelessness that we have lived with in our hearts will make God's glory all the more glorious.

The world is destined for tribulation. A time will come when mankind will indulge in a level of wickedness that goes beyond anything anyone can imagine.

The popular belief among Christians is that believers will be taken up to be with the Lord before the tribulation begins. If God does this, who will He pour out His Spirit on in the final days? Who will be having the visions and the dreams and reaching out to the lost all over the world? Seems to me once all the believers are gone to meet the Lord, all the hope will be gone as well.

I have heard it preached that the rapture will not happen until the middle of the great tribulation. I've also heard it preached that Christ will not come until the end. I have even heard it preached Christ will come before, again in the middle, and once more at the end of tribulation.

To me the smart thing to focus on is not the specific time of Christ's return. I would rather ask God for the wisdom, and the strength to be faithful all of the time.

Matthew 24-10 tells me that in the end times many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

Is it possible that the hope offered in the pre-tribulation rapture of the church was Satan's lie to deceive many people? Will the wickedness of the times cause people to lose hope and then turn on each other out of pure desperation?

In the end times the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

This is the time to stand firm. Now is the time to overcome our fear. "Sound the trumpets and give the wake-up call." Rise up in one voice and remove all of the religious differences that divide and deceive us. Focus on Christ.

There is no better time than now, if you were waiting for a special moment to take a stand for Christ. The battle we are facing will not be won with bullets and bombs. Join me in faith and ask God for the revival of this fallen world.

( Revelation 2-7 ) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

In the end faithless, depraved people will receive their hearts' desire. The cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic art, the idolaters and all liars-their place will be in total separation from Jesus Christ and His holiness. Before faith in Christ changed my heart this would have been a good description of me. I deserve eternity in hell but God reached out to me with love and forgiveness. I received grace in faith and grace set me free so that I could become a better person. Imagine all of eternity without hope and you will see the place the lost chose for themselves by rejecting Jesus Christ. He is standing at the doorway to your heart, "let Him in."

( Revelation 22-20 ) He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.

( 2 Chronicles 7:14 ) 'If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.'
